Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
The first soundtrack album for Hayao Miyazaki’s film, composed by Joe Hisaishi. Includes newly recorded movie BGM based on the image album "Bird Person..." and the symphony "Legend of the Wind." Recorded in February 1984. The vocals for "Requiem" were performed by 4-year-old Mai at the time.

Castle in the Sky
Soundtrack album featuring the BGM used in the film, including the insert song "Carrying You." Castle in the Sky was Miyazaki's first work to adopt 4-channel Dolby Stereo, and the music reflects this grand scale. Produced between June and July 1986.

My Neighbor Totoro
Soundtrack album featuring the BGM used in the film. Enjoy Joe Hisaishi’s warm and cozy music, different from "Nausicaä" and "Castle in the Sky." Includes the opening theme song "Hey Let's Go!" and the ending theme song "My Neighbor Totoro." Recorded between February and March 1988.

Kiki's Delivery Service
Soundtrack album featuring all the music used in the film. Isao Takahata was in charge of musical direction for this film. Recorded right after Joe Hisaishi's return from working on a solo album in the U.S. in June and July 1989. The CD and LP jackets are identical. Also includes two insert songs by Yumi Arai.

Porco Rosso
Soundtrack album featuring the music used in the film. Focuses on acoustic sound and was recorded with a nearly 70-piece full orchestra. Recorded in May and June 1992. Also includes two songs by Tokiko Kato.

Princess Mononoke
Soundtrack album performed by the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra. Recorded in May 1997. Includes all the music from the film, including the theme song by Misia. Joe Hisaishi won the Japan Record Award for Composition for this work, and the album also won a planning award.

Spirited Away
Soundtrack album featuring the music from the film. For the first time, the soundtrack was live-recorded in a concert hall by the New Japan Philharmonic. Conducted and performed by Joe Hisaishi. Recorded in May 2001. Also includes the theme song by Yumi Kimura.

Howl's Moving Castle
Soundtrack album featuring music from the film, centered around the newly composed theme "The Merry-Go-Round of Life." Also live-recorded in a concert hall by the New Japan Philharmonic. Conducted and performed by Joe Hisaishi. Recorded in June 2004. Includes the theme song by Cheiko Baisho.

Ponyo
Soundtrack album featuring music from the film. In addition to the New Japan Philharmonic, this work features a large choir by the Ritsuyukai Choir, dynamically expressing "sea and life." Recorded in May 2008. Includes theme songs by Masako Hasegawa, Fujitaka Fujimaki, and Nozomi Ohashi.

A memorable soundtrack featuring full orchestra performance by the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, along with ethnic instruments such as balalaika, mandolin, bayan, and accordion. Includes the theme song "The Airplane Maker" sung by Yumi Arai. Recorded in May 2013.

Castle in the Sky (USA Version)
A new soundtrack album re-recorded by Joe Hisaishi with a Hollywood film music orchestra for the English-dubbed version of "Castle in the Sky" released by Disney in North America in 2003. Includes some newly written tracks.

"La Follia" - The Bread Dough and the Egg Princess (Ghibli Museum Release)
